Negative Pressure Deep Tissue Massage A negative pressure deep tissue massage is achieved by the use of suction using latex, or glass, cups. The movement over the skin aids in increased blood flow, lymphatic drainage, loosens adhesions whilst it is stimulating the peripheral nervous system. Using this technique it is believed that any therapeutic oils used, to aid the passage of the cup over the skin, are absorbed more effectively. This practice has been used in Asia and Eastern Europe for centuries.
Aids in lymphatic drainage, easing adhesions, pain relief and release of toxins in deeper tissue. |
