Russian Honey & Cupping Massage

Russian Honey & Cupping Massage

A negative pressure deep tissue massage is achieved by the use of suction using latex, or glass, cups.  This practice has been used in Asia and Eastern Europe for centuries.

The movement over the skin aids in increased blood flow, lymphatic drainage, loosens adhesions whilst stimulating the peripheral nervous system.

Using this technique before the application of honey to the back is believed to allow the toxins to be more easily absorbed into the honey, whilst the nutrients can be absorbed into the body from the honey.

During the massage special techniques allow the honey to change consistency and the white pellets that appear are believed to be toxins which have been removed from the body.

Good for: Detoxing, nourishing the body and skin.
